Jen Foster

Jenifer Foster has worked for CCMRS for a total of 9 years. She was first seen around her in the spring of 1995, as a Social Work intern from Fresno Pacific University. In 1996, she served for nine months as the Administrative Assistant. Jen returned to CCMRS in 2005 as part-time staff and grocery shopper. From there, she steadily worked her way through the organization: 2006 as full time staff, 2007 as the Program Administrator, 2008 as Interem Executive Director, and 2009 as Executive Director. She points out that there isn't any type of work that she hasn't done at CCMRS.

Jen has had friends with various disabilities her entire life, and did childcare for children with disabilities while in her teens. She started working professionally with disabilities while in college, when she was employed by Oregon Mennonite Residential Services, a sister organization to CCMRS (see Our History). She also worked as a staff person at Life Steps, a California-wide sociel service organization, at their Santa Maria Branch.

Jen is especially grateful to her mother, who taught her "in word and by example that all people are valuable and worthy of kindeness." She also values her time her at CCMRS: 

"I am grateful for the wide variety of responsibilities I have had at CCMRS and the various directors I have served under who have given me examples of leadership and service to our community."

Lynn Hiatt

Lynn Hiatt is the Supported Living Service Administrator, which entails supervising care for all the residents in the apartments including Charis 2. In her seven years with CCMRS, she has also served as the Hampton Way Community Coordinator and as a Direct Care Staff in all of the programs.

Lynn grew up in Japan. Her favorite scripture verse is Isaiah 43:19.
